About Jens Kaeumle
Fashion designer, artist, writer, and professor Jens Kaeumle has always been passionate about his art and expression through creativity. Born in post-war Leonberg, Germany, his early years were shaped through the eyes of a generation ready to change the world. It was an era of industrialization, but Jens planned to embark on a different path, one where he could show his bold expressions, diversity, and creativity to the world.
Jens Kaeumle, a graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, started his creative journey that transitioned from painting and sculpture to fashion and the exploration of the human body. Beginning his formal art education at Hamburg Armgartstrasse, Fachhochschule für Gestaltung at eighteen, the fashion artist and designer honed his skills through art classes from his early years. Kaeumle had the privilege of learning from renowned artists such as Max Schmitz, Bernd Mack, and Bettina Kresslein.
Jens’ passion for art has allowed him to work for some of the biggest names in international fashion design, including Moschino, Emanuel Ungaro, Giambattista Vali, Levi’s, Louis Vuitton, and Tommy Hilfiger. His fashion memoir describes his exciting and inspiring journey into the fashion world.
